Cartier Love-how to tell if its YG or RG?

Hi Ladies, my jeweler (who does consignment) is offering me a love bracelet for a temptingly good price. Problem is, i cannot for the life of me distinguish if its Yellow gold or Rose gold. I had a rose gold one before but i sold it coz the fit was not right, and so i know the differnce between the 2 is subtle.

Is there a marking or anything that I can look for to determine if its YG or RG? I know the bracelet is authentic, its just the type of gold im having trouble determining. Ive placed it next to other jewelry thats both yellow and rose, and when i pplace it next to yellow, then to me it looks yellow. when i place it next to rose gold, it starts looking rose gold to me...

Help! and yes, hubby keeps telling me to get my eyes checked coz he says ive been having issues with it lately lol...

I think if you like it and it's a good price, who cares!

Seriously though, my friend has RG, I have YG, and we put them next to each other, and I could not tell the difference. It's super subtle.

I have RG and the only time I can see the difference is in the sunlight. Of course, I've had people they can see it immediately!

The jeweler said it was YG But I honestly thought it was RG. I ended up taking it outside with a whole bunch of other jewelry (with the security guard LOL) and was finally able to tell that its RG. The light inside the store is the yellowish one that makes everything shine and sparkle so I was really having a hard time distinguishing and the jeweler and I were not agreeing on what it was LOL.

Long story short, I traded in some of my scrap broken pieces of jewelry, a bracelet I never wear anymore and ended up just paying $1500! I was happy, the jeweler was happy with all my scrap gold, and the love bracelet is now home with me Hehe. It was priced really well and I think he felt bad when I told him about the price increase and how much it is now but he says its OK, he knows I'm a repeat customer.

I still need to put it on but will take pics later. My old one was RG size 16 and I always wanted bigger and this is exactly the size I like: )
