Hello everyone! Read the cartier love ring thread but didnt find a clear answer on what peoples preference are on the 3 diamond vs 6 (full) diamond variation of the love ring. My current collection includes a dia rose JUC, 10 dia rose love and plain white gold love. Which ring do you all think will go more for a 24/7 wear? or maybe i should skip both and go for the no diamond version, since I have the diamond bracelet.

When i tried on the rings, the no diamond was the most comfortable for a daily wear, but Im afraid after regular use, it'll get scratched up and it'll end up looking like a regular gold band. It was really informative to note that the no diamond one is 6g while the diamond ones are 9g and this is definitely evident, giving it a much chunkier look which I like, but Im not sure it'll be ideal for daily use.

Also with regards to the sizing, Im a 51 normally so should i be sizing up to 52 for the classic love?

Thanks a lot, I was hinging towards full diamonds as I thought if i bought alternating, I would regret not going for the full thing but if the aesthetic of the alternate is better I'd like to go for that. will be getting it for my birthday coming saturday

Plus you've already got plenty of beautiful diamonds on your Love bracelet :)

With the ring especially...when it's full with diamonds it's hard to tell that it's a Cartier Love. It could be a non-branded inspired piece (nothing at all wrong with that, but if you want it to be Love it should show at least a screw motif somewhere.) The 3-Diamond version is much better, the votes are unanimous!

You didn't put the option in the poll, but you mentioned that you also liked the all-gold non-diamond Love. The etching is very deep, so even when it scratches and patinas over time, I've never seen the motifs rubbed off. And yes it would be very comfortable because it's not as thick/deep as the ones holding the diamonds. But it sounds like you love diamonds...and they do add something special to it.

Thank you! I think I'm pretty finalised on the alternate diamonds. Im just being really indecisive so forgive me haha. After reading so much, Im getting a feeling i should give the regular love another serious consideration but i do agree with the part about the classic look.

get the love with 4-diamonds so you can have both the diamonds and screw motif in one bangle.

Thanks a lot but i thought about it and I already have the white gold bracelet without diamonds. in that the grooves are most visible as they darken over time and sometimes I stack my full and no diamond bracelet to get the aesthetic. Yellow gold doesn't suit me hence I dont think I should get another bangle coz ill have to repeat the colour in rose or white which i already have :)

I really love the plain Love ring. But I might be biased since this is my wedding ring haha. I also thought about the 3 diamond version, but personally I don't like it on my small finger. You can really see only 1 motif clearly. So either a diamond or a screw motif. I just like that it is all plain now, otherwise I would have been constantly trying to get the diamond in a specific place (yes I am a bit weird ). I like the 3 diamond version on you though, but would love to see a comparison between this and the all plain. Keep us updated!
