Cartier love bracelet VS VCA Guilloche

Hi girls, Merry Christmas 🎄
I would like to buy a new bracelet, but I don’t know if should go for the Cartier Love bracelet in medium or classic size or a VCA Guilloche. I already own a VCA Onyx bracelet.
I feel the Cartier love bracelet isn’t as unique as the Guilloche, especially considering all the replicas, however it’s undeniable that it’s such a timeless piece.

I initially voted VCA guilloche but then I saw you already had an onyx bracelet so now I say Love just for some variety. I think the VCA leans feminine and dressy while the Love leans casual or cool so with both you can cover more outfits. I personally have a Love cuff and MOP 5-motif and like being able to wear the Love with very casual, or even just dressy but not feminine, outfits.

I voted the guilloche because I saw it irl and think it's absolutely stunning; the love bracelet is also not my style.

They are both very different, to be honest! Not just in terms of style but also fit/feel--the Love is structured, whereas the Alhambra bracelet is more flexible with the chain.

Some other things to think about: The guilloche is stunning with a lot of sparkle. However, I also read here that it has a tendency to get some scratches as a bracelet (less of an issue for a pendant or earrings.) It has a more feminine look compared to the minimalist/streamlined Love.

For my personal taste, I voted guilloche, but think about what you might wear more often.

Oof tough choice! Didn't vote because I'm kind of stuck in the middle.

I already have a love bracelet and because of that I would say VCA.

But while the guilloche line is my favorite, VCA doesn't really go with my style and aesthetic. I'm not that feminine or girly. I am much more into industrial designs and clean lines.

While I agree that the Love is not as unique as the guilloche and the guilloche definitely has more design in it (and I love that sparkle from the cuts), I think both are replicated often at this point.

Just remember, as @citykitty24 mentioned, the guilloche bracelet does get pretty scratched up and the guilloche cannot be polished. LVloverCC on Youtube has both the bracelet and pendant version of it. She does a comparison and the bracelet definitely does not sparkle as shine as much as the pendant. She stacks and wears her pieces often. If that bothers you, then it may not be for you.

My love is pretty banged up but I'm fine with it and have no intentions of sending it in for a polish.

I have both and personally I prefer my love bracelet which is my 24/7 worry free. While Guilloche is breathtaking n photograph beautifully, I hardly reach for it as I don't feel at ease stacking it with love or any other bracelet due to the same reason others have mentioned. If you don't mind scratches n not stacking with any bangles then it should be fine.
I've seen others stack onyx n Guilloche 👌 and also the Love bracelet with onyx 🤩.
Best to try on and see what makes your heart sings.

Depends on you, like everything else. Would you care about scratches? And if so, what would bother you more, scratches on the love or the guilloche? Is there a stack you prefer - onyx and guilloche or onyx with love? Are you more comfortable with a bangle or a soft chain bracelet? I would ask myself these questions in order to make a decision. My personal answer is neither. The squared off edges of the Love are uncomfortable on my wrist and I cannot tolerate the scratches on the guilloche, so my opinion is of no use to you. Just be brutally honest with yourself so you make the right decision and spend your money wisely.

I have two loves, and just recently got the guilloche (this week it came in, yay!). It does seem delicate— so i am going to have to be very careful with it, as compared to my loves that i never remove, and even go to the gym with. To answer your question, i guess if you want to get the most use, the love, if you want to have a flash piece of jewelry then the guilloche. I don’t wear my onyx a ton, but I absolutely love it, it is just on the delicate side and i just don’t think vca bracelets look nice when they’re all banged up. Ha
