Hi my jewelry forum ladies, i really need your help...I'm hopelessly addicted to Cartier LOVE:heart: And now i'm planning my BIG Cartier personal purchase ever.

I received the Yellow gold cuff from BF 2 weeks ago, and now i'm obsessed to have a full bracelet to go with it. I'm planning to get it during mid Nov before i go overseas, so i can claim tax back (about 10%). I've tracked down the ONLY Rose gold bracelet in 16 in another city (apparently also the only one left in the country). But since they don't do phone order or such, the only way i can get it is to fly 2 hours :wtf: and purchase it myself there. My local store sold out the rose gold (size 16) months ago, and its gonna take 3 months plus to just order one in. However, they do have the WG with 4 diamonds available, which is TDF!!

The question is do i fly 2 hrs to go to another city to pick up the Rose Gold bracelet in 16, or buy the WG with diamonds here at my local boutique. I know its really not that comparable, since there 3k+ price diff, but i'm really really lost in my decision:confused1:. The latter one does strength my budget a little bit, meaning if i brought this, I would be automatically banned (for everything) for NEXT YEAR for sure:push:.

I would get the Rose Gold. It's more unique and is such a beautiful colour.

Also, you could save the extra $3000 and fly to Sydney for a weekend and enjoy yourself!

I would offer to do it for you but I'm sure you would want to enjoy the experience of making the purchase.

^^yea...i have to figure out what to do if i do go to syd and buy the bracelet, i can't just fly 2 hours and pay for the air ticket for nothing but the bracelet.....:sign

I have trouble spending so much for white gold. Always have.. I have lots of white gold.. but I still think people mistake it for silver. Not that.. I am trying to impress with gold.. but I tell myself.. if it looks silver.. I should just buy silver.. since its a huge price difference.

Cartier White GOld is is more then both rose gold and yellow gold.. but around 300.00 a bangle.. which is another issue.. and the white gold.. eventually turns gray. They call it Gray Gold.. right in the store. Thats what the all the SA referred to it in the store. Something to do with the rodium.

Sooo I would say no to Cartier White GOld..unless you are looking for that particular look.

I have always been partial to rose gold.. because its soo unique and hard to find anyting solely in pink/rose gold. and Cartier Rose in particular... is unique from any other rose gold.. I have seen.

I say.. wait.. dont ban yourself....for a year... and save for it.

I'm most concerned about that too....and i don't like the fact that it looks like silver:sweatdrop: cos since i'm paying so much for the WG i want it to stand out. Thats why i prefer the diamond version. But since i already have a yellow gold cuff, i want something else for the bangle.

I vote for the rose gold. I personally like white gold very much, but after hearing that the Cartier white gold will turn grey, I don't want to get it anymore so that's why I got my Love chain bracelet in rose gold.

And by getting the rose gold you are able to save $3k! Even that one doesn't have the diamonds, it's still an eye catching and unique piece!

Save yourself some money and get the rose gold so you can buy the matching neclacke (like me:graucho:), OT-Sweetie, love your new T&Co DY bracelet is that in white gold?...I'm also thiniking of get it one:p.

Don't worry about the WG looking like silver, as anyone in the know about Cartier will know that it is WG and not silver as Cartier does not make that bracelet in silver, and besides WG is more expensive too. I think the WG with diamonds will be a nice contrast to the YG cuff you already have and it will look good when you wear both together.

I have the WG bracelet with 6 diamonds (older models came with 6 and not 4 diamonds) and I love it. It is such a classic piece of jewellery.
