hey jewelry fanatics,

i've been saving up to buy a cartier love bracelet. i haven't seen it irl yet, but i assume from the gorgeousness that i see on everybody else's wrists that i will love it too.... :p

it's a substantial chunk of money especially after you factor in tax and what not....soooo i've been thinking are there other jewelry combos/things that i can get instead? more bang for my buck? or should i stick with the love and call it a day? so my choices are:

1) cartier love bracelet
2) diamond studs and diamond pendant
3) laptop
4) blingy wedding band
5) keep saving until i save enough for a 20 motif van cleef and arpel :graucho:

what to do...
thanks for any advice you may give me. i give myself 2 more months to ponder this.

From my experience - get the Love bracelet now! If you substitute other things, the Love will always be on your mind. Also, the prices continue to increase. I think you will be thrilled with wearing the Love bracelet. JMO!

:sweatdrop: good advice ladies...you're all right. i'd probably think about it way too much if i didn't get the love bracelet. it's dropping a chunk of money on one thing that makes me nervous, kwim...like is that what i REALLY want....*sigh*

I know when I get a 'want' in my head - it doesn't go away. I may be able to push it to the back burner for awhile but it always comes back. I wanted a LOVE bangle for years and for various reasons talked myself out of it but it would pop into my mind a few times a year..........long story short, I now have a LOVE bangle - LOVE it - and just wished I would of bought it a few years ago when I initially considered it. Go with your gut and what you really think will make you happy. Good Luck.

hey bagaday,

if you don't mind, can you tell me how much you would have saved if you had bought the bangle sooner as oppose to years later? i know since my desire for a love bracelet first took root, it has already increased by $100...not to mention the increase in tax as well.
