SA says new pave Love will stack flush with the classic Love. BUT - only with new hinge classic Love. Something I didn't know is that the two screw classic Love is thicker than the hinge classic Love! So if purchasing the new pave to stack with other Love bracelets it will not be flush with other Loves if you have the two screw bracelets. I think it would be close though because in the pictures it's really hard to see the difference in thickness between the two screw and hinge classic Love.

I guess it got cheap with the use of less gold to make a profit! Sad. Thanks

The new-generation design for Love Pave bracelet has launched in some stores in China. Sharing some photos from REDnote. Overall it might look a bit strange if you're familiar with the originals, but perhaps this design can stack better with non-pave pieces. Has anyone tried them on?

Notable differences:
1. Different pave cluster design surrounding the screw motifs (somewhat like an enlarged Love SM Pave)
2. Larger diamonds (possibly fewer as shown below, but total carat weight may be increased)
3. Similar height and thickness as Classic (or Medium) Love non-pave models, same closure system as single-screw bracelet
4. Much lighter weight, given all the changes above. Less gold used.

Gone: The heft and thickness of the original Pave, and push-button closure.

(closure system following other single-screw models. Seems like the full diamonds-WG model will no longer have 12 large diamonds)

More differences shown in different angles:

It’s 3ct instead of 2ct and there’s less gold now. I tried it in store and it felt quite light in comparison to the original. It lacked the heft but the diamond setting has improved. Not sure how i feel as the white gold won’t have the black ceramic anymore

Sounds like the old version will be phased out. Explains the zero price increase on the love bracelets this month. Less gold used for the hinge versions.

Not a lot of people liked the button lock. Lol.

I could imagine this bracelet will look white compared to the old version in pictures given the 3ct / larger diamonds used similar to the current small pave loves.

I’m surprised it’s released first in China. But then VCA seems to be releasing lines in countries outside of the U.S. first.

The heft of the original pave will be missed. It is my favorite.

Wow not sure how I feel about that closure system for such an expensive bracelet, I feel like it isn't battle tested yet!
Interesting how the screws now mesh into the edging.
Good eyes! Didn’t notice the meshing of the screws to the edge.

I personally don’t like the gap at the hinge for these new single screw locking mechanism. Let’s see if they change that overtime.

Yes the increase in diamonds will definitely make the yellow and pink gold versions less yellow and pink and more bright white

I actually really like my button lock! It feels so secure. Yes the screws blending to the edging is like the small pave. I prefer the fully encircled screw tbh.

In Canada the price of this bracelet went up $2500 CAD.

Interesting the WG onxy version will no longer be made. Good thing you got yours @lynne_ross !

Haha! I was just reading this thread!
I just got the ceramic version which I have wanted for a decade.
From the pictures, I like the diamonds on the new more. It looks like it will really sparkle. Otherwise, I like everything else on original - thickness of gold, screws defined and separate from edge, locking mechanism and of course the ceramic!
Picture of my love for reference.

I agree, I prefer the original, but yes! - the diamonds look like they may be more sparkle and of course more of them if ct is now 3. However (pointed out by @blinggirl74), I also think the original spacing or "lines" of the diamonds contribute to the iconic design.

ETA: were you at a Coldplay concert in pic? :amuse:

I do like the diamond rows of original. Ok maybe I am neutral on the diamond point. I am surprised they changed the clasp since the current is so secure! I wore mine swimming yesterday and had no worries about it falling off.
I don’t stack my pave love with other loves. I own the original loves and wear daily on other arm. I can see the appeal of aligning the designs for stacking purposes.

Yes I saw Coldplay in HK. They did a good job of keeping audience engaged. I never realized that their songs are hard to dance to until the concert. A bit of an awkward sway the whole night.
