So I found a Grail piece (for me) a Cartier Large Trinity Bracelet. I love the look of stacks but can't bear to scratch my jewelry or watches up so this is a built-in stack that matches everything. LOVE Cartier Trinity but know I would destroy a ring, and I adore the Love and Juste Un Clou collections but find them a bit small for me at 5'10" in height. I'm usually a cuff lover. Do you think the fit is too tight? It does the rolling-up-and-down-the-arm thing but is VERY hard to put on. I have a 5.75-6" wrist, and this is the PD 7" size, but since it's round and has no clasp I fear that I'm going to destroy it putting it on and taking it off (Trinity wearers please weigh in)! I'm trying to find photos and some show it closer fitting (I have about 1" of clearance and it rolls/goes about halfway up my forearm). The Trinity Collection is 100 years old in 2024 so I might enjoy it then flip it later...thoughts?? Thanks, my fellow jewelry-loving virtual friends! I'm also thinking of a Tiffany eternity band/tennis bracelet to match my earrings...a Tiffany Bone Cuff...more Stephen Webster...help! As you can see, I have a large automatic two-tone Cartier Tank Française so I could double wrist it...thanks again! P.S. sorry for the gross pictures: I swear my arms don't look this bad at a normal distance :D

I think it looks great, especially knowing that it has room to go midway up your arm, but I have no personal experience with the bracelet. I’m planning to purchase it in the medium model and am unsure of what size to get (I do not live near a boutique). My wrist is of similar size to yours. The SA I spoke with said that it’s hard to size bc of its shape/structure but 17 cm seems to be the most popular.

Thanks for responding! I'm kind of in love but it's VERY hard to get on and off. But the next size up would be too big. Fortunately there's a video of the ring on Cartier.com that explains the trick to getting it on (has to be aligned perfectly then you gently roll it over itself). https://www.cartier.com/en-us/servi...ewelry/instructions/trinity-instructions.html BUT it scrapes against itself...which kind of freaks me out! I can see that's a sizing issue as you mention: thanks for sharing that. I mean, I've always had small wrists, but since there is no closure it's really quite hard to get on. I would imagine that it's easier to get the thinner ones on just like with thinner rings maybe? I love it in all sizes! Maybe I'll just never take it off ;D
I love that one!! I have the regular size and always wanted the wider one!

I've had mine for ages - maybe 20 years? and it still is my favourite.
Thanks so much! Does it get scratched up very quickly? Do you have a cloth you like to shine it up or gently buff it? Have you done a polishing service on it at Cartier? Would love a picture! :D

Well, mine is so old, I don't worry about scratches like I might have done when it was new. Also, it doesn't scrape itself like you are worried about because it rolls.

It's raining today so it's dark and my pictures look terrible, but I'll try later.

Thanks a bunch for sharing this video! Despite poring over the website, I never noticed this. Very helpful to know how to put it on! I agree that thinner bands are probably easier to get on and off,.. it’s a shame that the next size up will be too big for you! It does look so lovely on you.

@Jayne1 do you ever stack it with other bracelets or a watch? Am wondering if it’s comfortable to wear that way.
Yes, at this point I stack it with everything. And I only wear it on the arm that has my two Love bracelets.

So, it’s my two Love bracelets that never come off (because they are the old ones) and my Trinity bracelet. I take the Trinity off every night of course.

I think the bracelet looks gorgeous on you. I can’t comment on the trinity bracelet’s wear and tear but I have two trinity rings - a medium size all gold and a diamond one (a single row of diamonds in each of the rings) that is no longer made. The rings roll on my finger easily and don’t scratch from going on and off BUT all jewelry worn on fingers and arms are bound to show wear and tear eventually. Easier said than done, but you just can’t stress about that! Do I worry that the tip of my brand new JUC might scratch my Hermès CDC band? Sure, but I know it’ll happen one of these days. And the CDC bracelet doesn’t look like it did 6 months ago when I bought it and my brand new JUC is going to take a hit or 2 (before hits 3 through 40). I want to wear my jewelry and get the most from them. I think you’ll love that magnificent trinity bracelet forever and, while your heart will skip a beat when you notice it’s first scratch, it’ll still bring you tremendous joy.

Thanks so much! I am a HUGE CDC fan...the sterling large cuff is one of my favorites of all time and holding up beautifully! I also have white, graphite gray matte gator and black with silver hardware and red and black gator both with gold hardware as well...it's an obsession and I wear one almost daily (or did when I was leaving the house for work!). The leather and exotic ones do show wear (leaving the smiley marks etc.) and it kind of bugs me you can't refinish them...but they are so gorgeous anyway! Hermès sterling is amazing and holds up much better than Tiffany sterling in my experience as well...sorry Tiff! I agree I need to accept that, like me at 45, that life comes with dings and scratches but is still beautiful! And there's always repolishing ;D

However, though I love Rolex (Roselor Datejust) and Cartier (Tanks...a few of them) I often wear my Chanel ceramic J12s...because you can practically blast them with lasers and they always look BRAND new :D

This is absolutely beautiful on you and seems to fit perfectly. There are videos about putting on and taking off tight bangles using the plastic bag method. You could also use a little oil to save the wear and tear on your skin and gold, and wash it off when the bracelet is on. There will be scratches but as others have said, that’s the patina you enjoy as the jewelry tells the tale of your enjoyment of its wear!

Warning -- don't take closeup shots of your more than 20 year old gold bracelets. You will notice scratches that you have never noticed before.

My regular medium size looks so skinny compared to your wide one and looks so average compared to yours!tb.jpg
