Finally here my report to my visit at Cartier and the Geneva watch fair. It was an excellent opportunity to dive into the world of Cartier and its craftmanship. I had the honor to be a guest and Cartier treated me in such a nice and wonderful way.
The hotel was a 5 star resort and showed all you can imagine, the food was excellent as well. I also enjoyed the welcome - see pics. The weather on the second day was not good enough for the planned helicoper ride so we took our limousine - which we had the whole three days, driver included - to La-Chaux-de-Fonds to visit Cartier's manufacturing facility. As it was on the weekend the large plant was closed and we visited the smaller atelièr next door where lots of craftsmen were working. There, I had a dedicated guide and an excellent lunch to round up my visit.
The fair was nice but not as remarkable as the following dinner with the Cartier CEO of the region. Interestingly there was tight security at the entrance gate but not when leaving the exhibition.
All in all I am grateful to Cartier to make such an event possible and that I was honored to be treated like this.
