My husband owes me a gift. He originally planned to get me a yg love bracelet, however it has been out of stock for the past 6 months and after reading so many complaints about having to take it off when traveling, I was convinced that the bracelet was not for my traveling lifestyle. So I opted for a watch but was torn between the Ballon Bleu and the Roadster. Then when I went to the Cartier store, they were also out of stock. I then saw the most beautiful bracelet called diamants legers de cartier. Now I'm confused. I can only choose one item from Cartier. Can someone help me decide? PLEASE?

This is a very hard choice to make. My DH just got me a ladies S/S roadster for our 10 year wedding anniversary. I wanted the watch forever...I think it's a nice mix of timeless sophistication, classic and distinct cartier style, and a perfect size. However, I tried on the BB midsize and fell in love. I went with the roadster mainly because a) he was buying so I went with the more expensive of the two and b) the roadster has the date.
I continue to think about the BB and plan on that being my next purchase. When I was making my decision I worried the BB might be too trendy and I didn't want a very round watch. The more I look at it, I love it and must own it.
But for my first cartier purchase, I am over the moon with the roadster. It's a good size without being too overbearing.
Definitely go for the watch.....first......

^^ I was going to say that also. Most people don't remove them it seems like. Do you have a nice watch already? If you don't then go with a watch.
just so you know I was very worried about my traveling lifestyle as well ...but I have had a absolutely NO problems with traveling with my love bracelet at all.
Depends on if you would use a watch. You definitely should try on both models before making a decision. They have very different looks. I prefer the BB, so that's what I went for. The diamants legers de Cartier is amazing. It'd be perfect standalone or for layering.
