Cartier diamants legers or tiffany dbty too similar?

I wanted the dbty necklace from tiffany for a long time... Everytime I go to tiffany I look at it or try it on.

Last year I buy diamants legers from cartier because I wasn't sure. DBTY is so delicate and I'm afraid that the diamond will poke me. Now I know that tiffany can make a basket to prevent poking. My solitaire necklace is really delicate too and I wear it everyday.

I return the necklace from cartier because my skin was irritated by it. So I don't know if my skin dosen't like WG. I have rings in WG and no problem at all with them. Or if the necklace it self is the problem. Because the edges are really sharp.

Does anyone have a problem with tiffany? The necklace is the same as my solitaire. So I don't think the necklace will be too sharp.

I think I will buy the dbty because I want it for so long... And I order two cbty bracelet's. The necklace's are out of stock.

But I'm thinking of trying the cartier diamants legers again in YG or PG. To see if WG was the problem.

I wonder if both are too similar? Does anyone have both?

I don't have both, but I was going back and forth when deciding to do the Cartier DL or the Tiffany DBTY (both in yellow gold), and the Cartier chain seemed shinier to me, so ultimately I chose the Cartier. It was more of a splurge, but I'm still happy with it 4 years later. I rarely take it off, and it's held its resale value (according to The Real Real). Good luck!
