I’m looking into getting my D’amour pink sapphire necklace extended from 16.5” to 18 or 19”. Has anyone had this done and do you know approximate cost of the alteration? I don’t like where the necklace sits on the neckline of most of my shirts and would like it to be longer.

I love my Bracelet d'amour very much, but it's annoying that it turns always on my arm.

My first sapphire. I love the pink color with the rose gold. It’s .17 carats but noticeably smaller than the diamond D’Amour Large model necklace that’s .18 carats. Apparently Sapphires are heavier/denser than Diamonds.

Wow! It’s stunning! Did you use a filter or edit the photo? Your sapphire looks much more purple than mine, which is a lighter pink. It looks great on you!! I do wish Cartier made a bigger option for both the sapphire necklace and bracelet!

Thanks! It must’ve just been the light? I think it reads more pink IRL but does seem purple sometimes. Here’s another shot over a white table which might make my phone read it differently? I too wish they had larger sapphires in this line! 🩷

Yes. I ordered one from the online boutique and it was so washed out — like basically the same color as the rose gold. Sent it back and bought the diamond necklace.

I had my small D’Amour diamond necklace extended last year from the original length to 18in I believe. I waited a few years before finally extending. Since it was the first alteration, it was free. So yours should be free if it’s your first alteration with the necklace. I’m glad I finally did it because I prefer the length so much better. I should’ve done it sooner lol.
