Let’s discuss all things D’Amour!

I love this collection. I have the rose gold with pink sapphire necklace and bracelet. I purchased them from Cartier, and I just bought the white gold bracelet with diamond from the Real Real. Upon receiving the WG diamond bracelet I noticed it’s not the same length as the sapphire bracelet.

On the Cartier website, the description for the white gold bracelet in size small and the rose gold bracelet with the pink sapphire is identical in terms of length and the size of the stone.

My bracelet is slightly shorter and my stone seems slightly smaller. Help!

Does anyone own both of these bracelets and can you speak to this?

It’s possible that the white gold bracelet was resized but it seems so insignificant that I’m wondering if this piece is actually authentic.

Not sure about the length, but the stone size on the small bracelet is .09 and the pink sapphire is .17, quite larger. Cartier website gives carat size for these bracelets.

Ok yes! Thank you. I am reading the website descriptions now. According to the Cartier site, the length is the same. I see that the diamond is .1 carat and the sapphire is .17. Do you have both bracelets too?

No, just one. I have the larger diamond, .13 YG. Thinking about a WG or the RG sapphire. Can’t make up my mind. They’re all so pretty, I want them ALL!

Hi, yes it is possible to be insignificantly shorter altered.
When I bought the pink sapphire I requested to alter about 1cm and it came back more snug fit than I was expecting so I sent it back to add more links back. First time was free of charge, second time cost me SGD180 unfortunately. I think I just added back 3 links or something like that.

Do you mind posting a pic of your large bracelet? I am considering but having a hard time imagining what it looks like in real life. The YouTube videos I have seen have all focused on xs and s.

Hi everyone! I’m making an appointment with the Cartier boutique to have my white gold with diamond and rose gold with pink sapphire D’amour bracelets sized. Has anyone had theirs sized so it’s tight enough on the wrist not to flip around? And if you have, did you get the tail shortened also?

I almost bought the rose gold version with sapphires with the earrings. But I hesitated and after a year I realised that they weren't for me. I think I've come to the same conclusion with diamond studs too.

For me, I prefer something more elaborately designed. It is too simple for me, but I do still really like it on others. I think rg and pink sapphires is a dream match.

Hi there, hope I am not too late.
I had it sized 1cm down and it felt quite uncomfortable so I returned to add about 3 more links.
Unfortunately even if it is quite fitting, it still has the tendency to flip.
This is just how it works with single motif bracelet but I would say quite fitting enough but with a few links more, the flipping does minimise. Other than this bracelet I also have another bracelet similar concept. Just have to get used to the occasional flipping.

Hi ladies,
Well I also am jumping in in the discussion...not sure if I need to start separate thread for this question or not...

I have an appointment soon to try on D'amour xs necklace. I'm going with this size because of the budget and I'm petite so I think it'll look good.

However I got a chance to buy a 0,50 ct diamond round solitaire pendant from a local jeweler for the same price as D'amour XS. It's beautiful, classic 6 prong setting with a bail, only it has an inclusion that I can see with the naked eye. Other than that inclusion it sparkles, and is beautiful.

Would it be Worth it to get the solitaire despite the inclusion ( 900,00 Eur for a 0,50 ct is a steal isn't it???). On the other hand, D'amour necklace is beautiful and what I was set on for the longest time before this solitaire came into my life.....

This necklace will be my 24/7 piece, currently I'm wearing Return to tiffany heart tag in yellow gold 24/7, since last June and I'm wanting something different. I don't switch out my jewelry, once it's on its on for a long time.

Also, I currently have only one other Cartier piece and it's my Love cuff in yellow gold ( I adore this piece, and it's my 24/7 piece as well).

Would love outside opinions because my head is spinning thinking this through lol.

I had mine shortened to try prevent the flipping, Cartier sized it based on my wrist measurement. But it is so uncomfortable, in warm weather it feels like a tight hair elastic around my wrist. It now lives in my jewellery box permanently. I have also tried a Merjui version as these are sized. This also constantly flipped.

Hi! I’d suggest that when you try these pieces on again, to take pictures of yourself wearing them, and take a few days to think about it. I own the large D’Amour and do like it a lot, but diamond shrinkage is real and I often find myself wishing for a bigger stone. Even 0.50 carats isn’t that big when worn. Personally an inclusion visible to the naked eye would bother me and I wouldn’t settle for something you aren’t 100% in love with. I also find the XS D’Amour way too small on my body frame even though I am petite, though it does work well on others. Good luck deciding!

Thank you for your reply. I have tried on the half carat pendant. The inclusion I can't see when I'm wearing it. It is such a nice size, not big at all, that's why I am hesitating thinking of 0,04 ct D'amour xs....
For the pendant im thinking I could eventually buy Cartier chain to put it on, since they are so sparkly and pretty....
