Cartier Centennial Roadster

Has anyone purchased this watch? This may be a gift for me for Christmas.

This is the description I have found on it.

It is a man's size, I think maybe around 42mm. I think the price is around $6,000.

my dad has it stainless steel but the one with the white background, it was about 9,800$

Hey SSC....you know I am a big fan of Cartier, and have been looking at the black faced roadster in a man's large. This watch, while I LOVE it, is the XL...it is huge. Have you tried it on yet? I did today, and the large....and still unsure, but think the large is best for me, but you may be taller than me and can pull it off....I am 5'4"....and have a really small wrist.

lol-- I did try it on and I LOVE it! I am a bit taller -- 5 ft 6 and my wrist is a full 1/2 inch bigger than yours. I think it still looks huge on me but I LOVE it!! (I have slightly bigger watches!!)

If you are having doubts, then don't do it. The large is a fabulous watch!!!!

I only had time to do a quick comparison between a Rolex I have and my new Roadster. There is a fair amount of difference in size between the two, but it doesn't show so much in this picture!

I think the Roadster looks fantastic on your wrist. I like the Rolex, but I'm liking the Roadster a little more.

Just came across this blog because I'm in the process of updating my insurance policy so I was searching for some info. I own the limited edition Cartier Roadster EL, steel blue dial with the centennial logo on the face with stainless strap and blue leather strap. It could use a good cleaning, but I love it.
