Hi everyone,
First of all, I can’t find clubhouse for Carryall and not so many information on TPF.
I am interested on Carryall PM size since the day it was launched but never pull the trigger because I prefer to wait for some time to see how durable it is. I can’t make decisions between monogram or empreinte. Both have pros and cons for sure. If you have one, either monogram or empreinte, please share your thoughts. I know I can always find from youtube, but I feel members here are more genuine when giving opinions. Really appreciate your help. Thank you in advance. :flowers:

If you’re going for durability Empreinte is the more solid choice IMO.

I do not!! But in general Empreinte is going to be more durable/carefree. Monogram has vachetta leather that easily looks worn/can stain… it can look beautiful over time but it requires work to keep it that way.

Empreinte on the other hand is not untreated (so you can use it in the rain for example).

I have the PM in Empreinte Noir. It has become one of my most favorite bags I've ever owned. I love it even though I hate gold hardware, LOL. I've carried it a ton and it still looks brand new, and the leather is just barely beginning to soften up. It stays put on my shoulder and sits comfortably against my body. The strap is wide and comfortable on my shoulder. The absolute only negative thing I have to say about it is the gold hardware, which I wish was silver - there's nothing functional about the bag I would change.

Hi, interesting post: I too have been drawn by the Carryall since its launch, however, when they brought out the Empreinte, I was in love. I didn't want another black Empreinte bag - I have the Petite Malle Souple & also the Vavin Chain Wallet. I recently updated my handbag collection: all canvas items have been sold & I've reinvested in Empreinte pieces because I love it so much. The durability, the subtle monogram embossing & the versatility of these won me over.
So the Carryall was my next target. I love the navy colour of the Neverfull I got for Mother's Day - but that meant I didn't "need" another blue colour.
I went to the boutique in Bond Street yesterday to view the bag "in life" to make sure I had fallen for the right item.
I also saw the MM - omg a beautiful bag but HUGE! Almost similar to the Neverfull GM I once owned! It would be great as a work bag maybe? A travel bag if you have young children. But not for me.
I wanted an everyday bag, which I could also use when travelling. The strap & zip give me this versatility - the cross body functionality & zip means I can travel easily with it. In terms of weight; I am yet to discover how it is to carry on my shoulder, however, being leather I am sure that's something to factor in.
I had a lovely experience with the SA & with her help I brought home my Carryall PM in Empreinte leather: Tourterelle/Cream. She's a beauty & can be used in all seasons & I cannot wait to start using her!

Can’t wait for pictures! I love the look of this bag but have waited because I didn’t want another black bag and was waiting for the right color or combo. That sounds really gorgeous! Right now I’m considering the blue wash that was recently released, it feels similar to denim to me but it’s empriente.
