I am really late coming into this discussion (late to say the least!) but I just bought a black Carlyle on eBay after looking very carefully and asking questions of the seller. The one I bought has the handles where length can be adjusted. I noticed there are other Carlyles on there that have "fixed" handles where the length cannot be adjusted. Are those ones Factory/Outlet bags? I'm assuming they might be? The one I bought is style #32221. I noticed that the other bags that have the non-adjustable handles do not have a style number on the creed patches. Any info is greatly appreciated. I LOVED the look of this bag when they were originally launched but could not afford the $$$$. I'm so glad to be getting one!
