I am not a fan of the signature/beet, I like it better with BLACK. I'd go with the leather in chili!!!

I too had this debate between the signature and leather Carly - I wanted the signature with the gold leather, but I looked at both and the leather Carly is soooo supple and classy looking. I just bought the chili Carly yesterday, and it is absolutely WONDERFUL! The leather is so high quality and the red is not too much because it's chili, and not fire-engine red. I love the quality of the leather, and decided the value of the leather outweighs the fabric of the signature, for only $50 more. Besides, I have other signature bags if I want to sport the CCs. I LOVE THIS CARLY and will be wearing it for quite some time. Plus, the beautiful brass hardware is a beautiful contrast to the red of the bag. I thought all that leather might be too plain, but that hardware is so substantial, it's a perfect compliment to the bag. Good luck in your choice, try them both out at the store and see what you'd love to touch and carry.
I was thinking about that too considering leather is only $50 more (in USD). I do not know what the price is in CAD but I will stop by the Coach store today to find out.
