caring for Tiffany

Hi
I know we have a few threads on cleaning tiffany pieces but my question is a bit different

i notice other people's pieces look so shiny and nice i find my rtt pieces in particular look v scratched up with lines all over them. i use the polishing cloth when i take them off and put them in their pouches..

can someone give me more tips on keeping my pieces sracth free? DH is giving me a new piece for our anniversary and i want to keep it nice!

Keep the paper that the piece is wrapped in at the store. That paper has an agent that slows down the tarnishing process. Next time you go to the store, ask for some extra paper. They should give it to you.
