Tory Burch Careen Loafer

So...after months of eyeing these loafers, I finally caved and bought them. They are not my typical style, but there is something so chic about them. I left the paper on the tassels just in case I decide to return them. What are your thoughts? Would you keep them?

I'm confused about sizing for the Careen Loafer.
I ordered the mid-size heel loafer in a size 6, which is what I usually wear in a pump. The shoe was so small that I couldn't put my entire foot in it.
So I returned the 6 and ordered a 6 1/2. The 6 1/2 is loose enough that I have to insert a shoe pad so that they won't slip off.
You would think that one of them would fit.
Has anyone else had problems with the Careen Loafer fit?

Have bought two pairs of careen loafers.....bleach. Added insoles and heel grips. They will not stay on feet !!!!!! Design or maker problem !!!!!
