Dear all,

I'm considering buying Caraa's new large leather studio tote that converts to a backpack. I am also considering the Cuyana large backpack in leather. Does anyone have experience in either brand or both brands and could comment on relative quality?

I have the Caraa cloud backpack In small black. I use it to walk to and from my gym. I like it since it is very light and seems well made. I was using a lululemon one for years and loved that thing so it’s been a transition! I do not have any experience with Cuyana.

It's not a backpack, but I own the larger black saddle bag from Cuyana and have been really happy with my purchase. The leather is good quality for the price point, in my opinion, and I love how understated it is. I know on another Cuyana thread members were saying there was a slight chemical-like smell when they received their bag, however to me it was from the dust bag and not the bag itself. I let it sit out for a day and the scent completely dissipated. Hope this helps!

Hi! Yes that is really helpful! I agree their leather is so nice and soft. I have not seen anything like it at that price point. I love that it does not have branding pasted all over it (I really dislike the name brand coated canvas bags ppl wear). this definitely helps thanks for your input!
