Capucines 2025 wicker bags are being released soon. I was able to try BB and mini. Such beautiful bags. I haven’t had any experience with LV wicker….considering this for summer dinners out as I think it’s not a day to day bag. Kinda feel the BB might be a little big but holds everything and the mini is so darn cute but my iPhone won’t fit. iPhone is usually in my hand or pocket anyway (right?) 🤣.

Any input on wear, durability etc would be helpful. TIA

I think the larger one looks great on you, effortlessly chic and summery. The flap is also more proportionate on the bigger one; it sticks out and looks off on the little one
Thank you. I think the bb looks good on me but feels a little big for dinner, a point I need to think through a bit more. See your point on mini, it did feel a bit off proportionally when moving the flap in and out.

I bought the BB Capucines Wicker last year, while I loved how roomy it was, I ended up returning it. I’m petite (5’4”), and it felt a bit boxy and bulky on me. It didn’t sit right as a shoulder bag either..looked best handheld, which limited how often I could use it. And for dinners, the size made it feel more casual than chic. I realized I didn’t want to keep a bag that didn’t add something special to my collection.
That said, I’ve preordered the Mini Wicker this time! It feels much more versatile to me..easy to dress up or down, and looks great handheld, on the shoulder, or even crossbody. Let’s see how it turns out, but so far, it’s looking like the beautiful, wearable wicker piece I’ve been hoping for. Just wanted to share my thought process in case it helps!

This really helps me regarding which size to buy.

I decided upon the mini as I felt all those same things you mentioned about size and ability to be versatile.

Everyone’s thoughts and suggestion have been very much appreciated! 🌹

Considering the same bag. Did you keep it? How do you like it?
Yes, kept the bag and love it! Dresses up and down. There is an issue with the shoulder strap detaching but as long as you straighten it out, it’s a non issue as a temporary measure. My CA said they will send it to be fixed when I am ready…. At end of summer.
