I've never done project 333 or purposefully decided to "become" a minimalist, but my seasonal wardrobe does fit that 33 item requirement quite easily, as the number doesn't include lounge-wear or workout clothing. It's not interesting enough to photograph though, as it's not a thoughtful capsule, it's just...my normal life

A minimal wardrobe comes quite naturally to me since I don't have much of a social life and although I work in an office environment, it's quite relaxed. I'm also very picky about pieces and struggle to make purchasing decisions even though I actually love to browse clothes both online and in the stores and do it very frequently. I have one storage bag for all the clothes (excluding coats) that are either out of season or not to my current taste, and I check through that bag at least 4 times a year. I'm quite quick to recycle or sell anything that I don't like anymore. When I was younger I moved a lot between different countries, and I guess the lifestyle of being able to pack my wardrobe into a suitcase has kind of stuck in my life.

I'd love to see pictures of other small wardrobes though, great topic!

Agree. I am not a minimalist nor do I claim to be an "aspiring minimalist", but I too am quite quick to donate or sell anything that no longer suites my current taste or lifestyle.
I also love window shopping, in person and even more so online. Yet, I also, am so picky with online purchases because I do prefer to try items on in-store; so a lot of the times I don't bite the bullet.

Though, I've realized over the years, I just don't like having a lot of "stuff" lying around. It's therapeutic to clean out my closet and I don't like having a very full or cluttered closet. Still a work in progress (as always haha), but something I have always enjoyed doing!

I recently did a small closet purge so I'll find time to post a couple photos.

This sounds exactly like me!!

I’d love to do this, I have extensive clothing yet always wearing the same old thing. I have 25 pairs of white jeans but wear two or three. I did at one point get rid of all my hangers except for 90. Then said if I run out of hangers something must go. But instead I started folding and using drawers
WOW 25 pairs!!!??? Def keep the 3 you wear on repeat!! It's a start! ;)

I used to be a jeans girl from middle school, high school, college, and well into my 20s. I had quite a lot of jeans.
And then one day, I just kind of stopped wearing them.
It's probably because I started wearing more business casual clothes and scrubs for work. Then, whenever I went back to jeans, they suddenly felt so uncomfortable and restricting! And I had so many old favorite jeans that were very stretched out and didn't fit well anymore. Now I've downsized to, I want to say, 5 pairs of jeans. Tbh, I don't even wear them that much. Maybe my one baggy pair for the summer, but the rest of them are usually for fall/winter. :P

Funny you should say that as I no longer want to wear jeans and think I’d prefer smarter capri pants or similar. But they’re either too thick or too baggy. I must admit my few more expensive pairs I only wash in cold water with no detergent and no heat from the iron or dryer and they’ve preserved their colour and stretch very well.

Can you recommend white jeans that have stretch for comfort but a heavier fabric? I hate seeing the pockets through the fabric and also want a really smooth look.

I highly rate the Spanx jeans, the white is much nicer than the blue and there’s slight tummy control too. Love those. For cheaper run around ones I get the white jeggings from Next Directory, only £22 a pair.
