Canvas vs Empriente

I ordered both the black empreinte and the black and canvas. Although I liked the look of the black and canvas, I chose the empreinte since I plan to use it for travel and thought it was a little more under the radar. I also have a lot of patterned bags (monogram, DE, DA) and only have one small black leather bag (Gucci Soho Disco) so I needed a larger black bag. I also thought maybe the empreinte might hold up better than the canvas as far as the pointed corners go? Both are beautiful. One more thing, I bought the empreinte before the price increase in fall and the monogram afterwards so the price difference seemed like a no-brainer. I think it was $75 more at the time for a full leather bag.
I have a black diaper bag and like the way the montsouris looks also hand held by the handle or on the wrist. That’s why i chose the turtledove color but I definitely do think the black will probably be more durable…. The turtledove color though.. it’s so gorgeous!
