I know I am crazy. As an Hermes canvas strap freak I bought two 70cm sangle strap for my K28 Swift Kelly hoping to give her a causal look for weekend use. The only difference between these 2 straps is the width, 25mm and 50mm. Question: which size strap looks better on K28? For K32 I prefer 50mm but for K28 which one do you prefer? Both straps are 70cm so they are for shoulder carry. FYI I am 5.3’. Tks

I vote for the 50mm. I just think it gives your jelly more of an edgy cool vibe!
Thx for the comparison too of both size straps! I’ve been debating getting one also, and I don’t have a boutique in my area, so this is very helpful!
Question- does the 50 mm fall off your shoulder at all? Sometimes my Evelyne strap does, that’s why I ask.

First of all, thank you for posting the pictures!! Very helpful for comparison.
I attempted to get a 50mm/70cm strap for my K28 too, but when I tried the combination at the store, the strap kept slipping off my shoulder.
Not that I had a heavier load in the bag, and I was perplexed (thinking wider strap means more 'stable'). My SA then got me a 25mm to try but in a longer length, it felt much better and the slipping off shoulder was instantly reduced by say, 80%!
I left the store without purchasing a strap though, as 25mm in 70cm are all sold out.
50mm may look aesthetically better, but 25mm works like a charm!

Hi, I think the 25mm for the K28 and You are not crazy.
I also have a 70cm sangle cavale strap “set” in the 2 widths and am same height 5’ 3”. I prefer short shoulder wear with my Kellys.
I use the 50mm for my 32 and 35, the width/short length looks more proportional to the larger sizes and my height. Particularly for the 35 which is mainly used as my travel/work meetings bag.
I use the 25mm for a K28, narrower width looks more proportional to the size and for me it’s a good alternative to the original leather strap and as this particular Kelly is box, a different look.
The 25mm straps in the 70cm were always difficult to find, now it’s impossible. I would definitely keep your 25mm.
And you may find the 25mm a useful alternative for the 24/24 bag in the 29 size, just saying

@1gunro and @celialow, hi and thanks for comment. i do a lot of shoulder carry with the 50mm strap for other H bags and i never have problem falling off. FYI i am 130lb at 5.3' so comparing with other skinny ladies my shoulder is wider and maybe better for shoulder carry bags.
