I was caught in the heavy rain with my brand new neverfull. Is the canvas completely ruined or does it dry off? Help me!
dry it with a towel. if you can pull the liner away from the canvas this will help it dry out. canvas should be fine.

Canvas will definitely not be ruined by rain.
Canvas is coated leather... it wipes off. How is it possible to ruin a canvas bag. The vachetta will most likely have water marks but the bag isn’t ruined.

I have accidentally put my damier graphite pocket organizer in the washer in college. It was my first wallet and I put it in the wash . I freaked out. I dried it off with a towel and let it air dry. The shape was intact just the inside lining part dried a little wonky (so it appeared elevated in certain parts of the card slots) but nothing noticeable on the exterior. It actually looked "cleaner". From then on I knew that canvas can withstand a little bit of rain. Obviously I will not make the mistake again or go and submerge my canvas pieces in water. But I know it will be ok if it's hit with a little rain.
