Thanks! Yes, I have no doubt LV won’t be able to help. I’m more looking for a DYI to keep it from getting worse.Sadly once the canvas is damaged it cannot be repaired. LV will probably say they cannot do anything about it.
You could take it to a cobbler or leather worker or jut put a tiny bit of clear nail polish on the area. I’ve been doing that on the zipper fabric of my Trousse Toilette for years and it’s held up well. It will seal it so it doesn’t get worse. Use it sparingly though, let dry. You can always do a second coat later.
