In the Authenticate This forums, it's really helpful if members can search by an Ebay item number in advance of posting a question as it greatly reduces multiple postings of the same items. But 99% of the time, searching by item number comes up with nothing, even when the item's been posted. Is there a reason behind this and is there a way to change it so that the search will accept numbers as well?
