I haven't sold anything on eBay in a while, but, I just went to my auction to lower the BIN price and it won't let me. It did however let me lower the reserve price. is this something new with them?

That's correct. You can't change BIN after you have bids. The only way to get around that is to end the auction early (you must cancel all bidders) and relist.

Generally, you can change the BIN before you have a bidder, but not after. However, EBay's system apparently cannot tell the difference between a revision to an existing listing and a new listing. When I was under EBay's new "restriction," I received "your account is limited and you can't list any new items" messages when I simply tried to revise my existing listing.

yep, pretty much can't edit anything after you get a bid.

After you hae a bid you can only "Add to the description" (not change the original description.) Also, if your account is under listing restriciton (which it most likely is if you are listing designer handbags and are not located in China =) then you cannot change or even add because their system sees that as another listing (even though it is not.)

Also . . . . I thought the BIN went away asa soon as there was a bidder??

:yes::yes: while I'm not listing new item, only revise and want to submit but appear that mesage... Is it depend on our feedback ? ( under ... feedback allowed to sell ... items only? )

I can list 2 items within 7 days only...

Buy it now disappears after you get a bid on an auction. If you list a fixed price auction a buyer can still do buy it now even though you have other offers pending
