I've been looking for a pair of large costume earrings to wear to a wedding I went to visit my mom's yesterday and a jewelry store was having a sale. They had a pair of fairly large wg and diamond chandalier earrings. They were heavly discounted $1250 to $250. Diamond weight was small .50 carat. They more had dust on them that made them shine with one diamond at post, and a few other ones that dangled. The fact that I woke up still thinking about them tells me something. My question is this do you think chandaleirs are out?it does seem like all the larger ones I'm looking at are still that style. I think I should go back and ask if they guarantee they'll appraise for the $1250 then buy them. I think I'd spend at least $250 on costume, what do you think? My dress is a plain black high neck(Bethany RHWNY had it on 2 weeks ago when they had first fashion show meeting). What would you do, go for something more blingy and costume or do these? Have you seen any large pretty earrings lately? Thanks for any advise.

I know, but if you've read my other post you'll see I lost a piece of jewelry I'm about to put an insurance claim in for. I've gone shopping and realize I should put all my extra pennies towards a really great dbty necklace or single dbty. Uugghh, so confussed. The earrings are great, but I do have diamond David Yurman's that would do. My problem??? I ALWAYS see great things I NEED!!!!! I'll post pic if I break down, I think the most important thing is if they gurantee apprasial value.

Found the necklace, no new one. I should be happy, but I'm sad. Read other post for whole story. So weird. The bright side, I can start thinking about those earrings again! With the way my luck has been going they'll be gone.
