Hi All,
Hubby is buying me some bling for our anniversary. I always wanted to have a stack of the love and the juc.

When I went to the store to try them on the regular size love is stunning! But also really noticable on your wrist. I feel like if I stack the regular love and regular juc it'll be too much.

The small love and juc feel more me and like I would get more wear out of them. I could add more to my stack like the Alhambra bracelet I like etc.

However, I'm wondering if the regular sizes would have more longevity as I age. I envision my wrists getting lose skin and wrinkles and the small bracelets getting lost.

Am I over thinking this? Should I go with my gut and small or just get one regular size love for now? The regular love is also the same price as both small bracelets. So I could only buy one now.

Thanks guys! The decision feels hard because it is so much money and I want to make sure I have no regrets

It all depends on the overall look you are after. If you like more dainty jewelry, do not buy the regular sizes just because they are the 'original'. You should buy what feels good on you! I personally do not like the small JUC, so I would buy the reg love now and wear it alone. You can always add a small Love/small JUC later. Another thing to consider is if you go for both small sizes, do you want one with diamonds? Or all plain? Because if you love one of it with diamonds in the end, it is better to just buy one now and wait. You cannot go wrong with whatever you decide! But always follow your heart :)

I had almost the same dilemma some months ago and ended up buying the reg love.

I sometimes regret not buying the small instead - I’m petite and prefer dainty jewelry but bought the reg for longevity. Ultimately my final thought was that I don’t want to stack, so the piece had to stand out by itself. But perhaps in hindsight I should have bought the small but with diamonds.

So go with your gut. If you prefer the small you’ll most likely like that the best in the long run.
With that said I do still love my reg love and has had no problems with it.

Thanks everyone! I'm a more dainty jewelry type of person. I think that's why I'm drawn to the small love and juc. I've always wanted to stack them. I was second guessing what I wanted because I know that the classic has more longevity and it's perhaps more suitable on my frame. I'm medium build. Definitely not petite. The deep down I think I'm going to get more wear out of the smaller ones. Especially because I know I want to stack them with other pieces from Van Cleef and Tiffany etc. So maybe I'll stick with my gut. Thanks so much for helping me trust myself. I'm very indecisive.

I also prefer dainty jewelry but am not petite. I went with a thin love, as I wanted something a little more understated. I ended up adding a second thin love later, and then a thin JUC with diamonds to complete my stack. I'm really happy that I went with the thin... I never second guess whether it's "appropriate to wear" or whether, as you said, it will be too much.

I also have just one thin Love and I am thinking what to add next, another thin or a cuff..

Did you get them all in the same colour?

Yes, they're all rose gold. I tried on the love cuff but it wasn't for me... I like that when you wear 2 thin loves, it looks like 1 bracelet from far away.
That’s a good idea :) I’m also thinking about getting the thin in all 3 colours.. don’t want to regret my choice, so will think about it :)

Congrats on your anniversary! The Cartier love never appealed to me bc I like dainty jewelry and it seemed to stand out too much. When I saw the small love, I couldn't get it out of my mind! However, when I ended up in stores and tried both on, I almost went with the classic (for all the same reasons you listed). My husband ended up telling me to get the small one that I initially loved (and then reassured me that we could "upgrade" in the future if I felt like I made the wrong decision).

A year later, I love my small love even more than the day I bought it and can't believe I ever second guessed myself! It is small and discrete enough for me. I have a sweet alhambra that I don't really stack it with and very recently (and impulsively) decided to order a small JUC to stack with the small love, but I have enjoyed the small love by itself on my wrist. Totally agree with sticking with your gut and trusting yourself. You'll be so glad you did!
