Can't decide between Cartier love or Tiffany 1837

Hi,

I am saving up for some jewellery pieces and would like one bracelet that will:

a) retain its value
b) be able to wear in 40 years time (I am 23 now)
C) be able to be handed down

I know that there is a huge difference in price, I don't mind waiting for something I will LOVE and will cherish.

So, these are the ones I have my eye.

If you want a real classic, then go for the love bracelet in yellow gold. It has been made since 1969, so it is a classic. The other pieces, however, are newer designs. They may look dated in 10 years from now.

Definitely the plain Cartier Love bracelet. I feel like once you reach a certain age, wearing some of the Tiffany silver pieces isn't appropriate anymore, it almost looks too young (mainly the pieces that say Return to Tiffany and Co. on them).

Another vote for the Cartier Love bracelet!

I love the diamond Tiffany metro and also like the second Cartier choice (the two intertwining bracelets). But I think diamonds all the way so I'm going with the Tiffany metro. Diamond bracelets never going out of style and I think anyone would love to have it handed down to them.

i personally don't like the half diamond tiffany bracelet because it would bother me when the non-diamond side faces up. the price points are really different for all your choices.
