I assumed that a lot (not all, of course) of the new members registering were already tPF members who re-registered just to have more votes. I hope IP numbers are checked and if there were members voting twice they will be excluded.

Me too but I imagine it would be way too time consuming. I seem to remember that on the last couple of pages alone it was made up of mostly people with just 1 post.

I think the last competition you had to have been registered and posting for a while, that was better..... although does that break any laws, like those "no purchase required" things that you see everywhere now?
