Hi Coco. No, bags are not discussed or ordered on the phone unfortunately. Since there are no H stores where you live may I suggest the resellers? There are some really good ones listed in the resellers list thread.

The only thing that might, and I must say again, might work is to buy smaller ticket items, ie. scarf, enamels, wallets, etc, in order to establish a relationship with a certain SA from a store that's closest to you. Good luck!

coco, let us know what bag you're looking for and we'll keep an eye out for you at the shops and resellers. also, if you like to travel you might consider a trip to paris ~ lots of ladies have been able to order their dream bag that way.

I think it may be just Birkins and Kellys that aren't discussed. Back in 2006 I needed an across-the-body bag and discovered the Evelyne on tPF. I knew zilch about H at that time. I called a few stores and told them what I wanted and they couldn't have been nicer. They emailed pictures and were so helpful. I ended up getting one from one of the stores I had spoken with.

However, I'm not sure if it would be as easy if they would be shipping to another country. I was just a few States away.... But it can't hurt to try .. I would contact the store that is closest to you ....

What about if the desired item isn't a bag, but something like a shawl? Can I call up an international store directly and have it shipped to me in the US?

I have been watching the inventory thread and would like to get something from one of the stores in Asia. My SA said she has been unsuccessful with getting global searches to pass through Paris. Language barrier notwithstanding, I'm wondering if I can just order it myself.
