I contacted Codi about this SO and was told we need 25 people. I know that is a lot of us. But PEPPER leather is TDF. I personally think it is as nice as the stonewash leather if it is not even better. You have to touch to believe. It's a leather that I have never felt before.

My personal SO wish is for a Mini Matinee (but I am flexible with details)
    Silver hardware (Or Gunmetal)
    Blue Zipper
    New Blue Polka Dot Lining
    Leather Flaps

I didn't ask her, but I would think the same as regular price $565 on LB.

  5. Oooh that sounds good! The only other black bag coming out has camel flaps. I wonder if we could get blue suede flaps on this?

  6. That sounds like a good idea. I also think more people may be interested with the blue flaps.
And forgot to add, can we have finished long tassels.. that's sort of very important to me.

  7. ^^I'm not sure of the blue suede is even available...you'd have to verify with Codi, but it seems like a good option. A lot of people are still looking for the original black/blue suede matinee so this would be a good alternative. I would be curious to find out what colors RM has available in suede anyway.

Long finished tassels sound hot too!

  8. BTW I would be down for silver, but probably not gunmetal. Don't want more possible hardware peeling issues.

I'm excited to see if there is any more interest in this!
Should we get a list going already?

Tempting.. but I'm not a big fan of the polka dot lining. Blue suede with silver h/w sounds good though.

I just want to point out something. As some of you know, there are two types of pepper leather - one that that is soft, smooth and smooshy like Ivy's Nikki and another that is not silky smooth but more pebbled (I think). If I remember correctly, I was told by a retailer that the made in USA bags (like the Nikki) uses the smooth leather wheares the made in China bags (e.g. pouches, Roadie) uses the other leather.

If this bag has to be made in China, you'll want to make sure that RM knows that we want the smooth leather and not the other usual 'China' Pepper leather. We know how RM tend to get SO specs mixed up.

  10. Good point, the "pepper" lover's clutch I have is not like the older pepper. This is exactly why RM shouldn't use the same names. If the old pepper isn't an option, then the black cat would be a good replacement.
As for the lining, I think the blue polka dot would perfectly complement the blue zipper tracks, and possibly blue flaps! SO GLAD that the birds are going away.

  11. hmmm... this sounds interesting. i will have to keep an eye out for the full specs / options.

i dunno. the blue zippers were really different at first, but i may already be starting to tire of them. the jury is still out. :P

  12. ^^ do you have anything with the blue zippers?

  13. ^ yeah, just one -- the black MAC

  14. I might be interested in this. I prefer the smoother, silky Pepper, the only reason I am holding to my Mini Devote(style don't do it for me) is coz of the yummy leather. I like the idea of finished long tassles. I don't like that dotted lining but am OK with it coz it's inside. Blue suede flaps would be gorgeous but if that's not possible, how about bright royal leather or just blue leather that matches the zipper track? I have enought gunmetal so silver HW is good.

I will keep checking back here!!!

  15. Royal leather sounds good! I would still like to know what suede flap lining is available too.
