Canadian PLEASE help !

Our region is going in lock down after midnight for two week and my package is suppose to arrive next week. Will UPS still deliver ? I am so worried and sad.

They do in the US, so hopefully they will in Canada. I don't see any logical scientific reason why they cannot leave a package for you.

There have been massive delays with shipping if it is coming from any distance. And, if the place that is shipping it is going into lockdown then there might be a delay if they haven’t yet put it into the mail. But UPS is still running as essential.

I've had packages arrive during lockdown in canada before, it tends to be no contact though.

They deliver without a signature which is odd for an expensive item. LV or the recepient can't really confirm/prove that the package was delivered ? Am I wrong?

Hey there! I’m from Toronto and got my Pochette Métis in 3 days after ordering it last week. It should be fine!

I am in Canada and I’ve received my packages during lockdown. I’ve had an experience recently where UPS didn’t request for a signature and dumped it right at my door. They didn’t even ring the doorbell. I would have thought for something expensive they would make sure at least at minimum to ring the doorbell. To make matters worse the box was really dinged up and looked open. Luckily, no one stole the package but I was not impressed at all. I understand that postal services are extremely busy during these times but I don’t know what would have happened if it was stolen. I don’t know if LV would have replaced the item.

Not delivery, but I have done the curbside pickup several times throughout the pandemic at Saks and at the boutique for LV ; and had UPS delivery from several stores (ie Nordstrom) since full lockdown. With LV especially, I have found the in-store pickup a bit slow - like a full week and a half before the package is ready for availability.

Other than avoiding doing pickup on Saturday’s when the yahoos are out and about doing... whatever it is that they are doing, the experience with LV has been pretty good. I know it’s a pandemic, but I’ve had the worst luck (not complaining as I know we’re in a pandemic, but comparing all the courier services!) with Purolator than any of the courier services recently.
