Hi Everyone,

I tried doing a search for this topic but nothing came up. I was wondering if anyone knows the price of the Chanel Petite Shopper Tote (PST) and the Chanel Grand Shopper Tote (GST) in Canada?

Since I live in Vancouver and can hop to Seattle anytime, I was wondering if its a better deal to buy in Canada or should I hop down to the US to get a new Chanel bag.

I'm not sure on the prices of the bags that you are asking about, but from my experience, it is always cheaper to buy bags in the US (assuming you are not paying duty).

Since the exchange rate is so low, after you add 15% tax to the Canadian price, it ends up costing much more. I live in Windsor, ON and I am 10 minutes away from Detroit, MI. I buy almost everything there. I travel to Toronto frequently and have never seen a handbag that was cheaper to buy in Canada. Unless it's on sale of course.

I bought the GST last week and cost me cad$2080 after tax. THe tax rate in Ontario is 14%. Hope this help!
