Can you Rhodium plate a YG plated/filled peice of jewelery?

Basically what the tittle asks. I found a great vintage piece but its YG filled, but I only wear white metals (well for now) i think it would be odd to to have one piece of YG among a sea of WG/white metals.

So I ask, can i have a gold filled piece of jewelery plated to have a white finish? would it wear off quickly... and would it be difficult to return it to it's original state if I a couple of years time I change my mind?

I mainly wear white gold as well. I am sure you can have the YG rhodium plated, but it will probably wear off as soon as you get home. Even with WG I've noticed that the rhodium wears off very quickly. And it's very expensive to have it rhodium layered.

I did it w/ my ring and two-tone bangle, the rhodium wears off after 4months of wearing. I have to have it redeep again. I wish i had not do it. It cost too much to maintain.
