Can you return Miu Miu for Prada?

Does anyone know if you can exchange a Miu Miu handbag for a Prada at the boutique? I know they are both technically under the same design house of Prada, but are they considered completely different? I know Prada employees can use their discount at both Prada and Miu Miu and vice versa. The only reason I ask is because I received a Miu Miu handbag as a gift and would rather have a Prada instead. They are both owned by the PRADA Group, but they are each distinct labels and operate as distinguishable entities within their own separate stores. No, you will not be able to do that.

Employees are able to do that because they are employees of the Group, not either brand per se.
