Let me know how you like the Deauville. I'm wondering how easy it is to carry and about the space inside

I've got it this afternoon. I really like it:D , it's very spacious. I can fit my 15" notebook in there with the zipper pulled up half way. A lot of compartment inside the purse. It's pretty easy to carry around on your hand or at the elbow.

OK .. my bag obsession or shall I say Louis vuitton obsession started in 2003 when I first saw Victoria Beckham in a magazine with an LV eye bag that she got from Elton John. It was goreous - and I have to admit I did not know anything about LV at the time..

Wel I started researching, and when I went on holiday to Florence in the summer of 2003 with my dad and sis I forced then to go to LV with me .. I remember feling really out of place as I had never been in such a store before.. I was very nevous but excited :shame:

I asked if they had any mc items left they said NO, so I aked how about the CB they responded that they had a retro and pink pouchette left .

They brought them out to show me, I was a bit worried to touch them as I knew how expensive they were. I begged my dad to get me the pink pouchette and he said only if we called my mum back in the Uk and she said yes. I dont think he thought my mum would agree, as he did not look to happy to send so much money on a handbag.

So we called my mum and she said yes, but on purpose my dad made us go to a cafe nearby LV but would not let us go to LV to buy it until he had finished his beer. By this time as it was a Sunday the LV store had closed, and we were off home the next morning . i was gutted:sad2: and angry:evil:..

So when I got back to the UK .. I carried on researching and asked my bf if I could have one for my 20th birthday in october 2003. He did; he got me the pink CB pouchette and shortly afterwards the mc white pouchette.. from then on I was hooked LOL

and that is how my love of Louis Vuitton began LOL

I came here to the US from the Philippines and I've been brought up by my parents having never purchased anything for myself. BF got me my first purse. It had some beads and I love it. I started collecting them and just recently, started collecting designer brands.

I've always dreamed of having a designer bag but that's all it was - a dream. Then, on my 16th birthday, my boyfriend got me a coach bag and from then on I realized the dream could be a reality! From then on, I've moved on to different designers and started buying my own. =)

im a late bloomer. i didnt know the beauty of bags till years after my peers did. when i first laid eyes on this beautiful nine west bag. the most beautiful shade of blue turquoise, i still have yet to find a bag with such a delicious hue. this started my lookout of bags. then a cousin gave me one of those coach key fob id wallet things, then came the wristlet, and currently my burberry baby. i just started blazing my trail, and with this site, i dont think im stopping anytime soon.

My collection was unconscious until I came to this forum. That is because my other collections are so big compared to the bags that I didn't really know how many I had over the years. When I get passionate about something, I tend to become obssesed and BUy, Buy, BUy!

my obsession began with lower end bags, probably around when i really started carrying a purse, around the beginning of university, mostly kenneth cole new york and coach and has only escalated from there.. and now its taken over! i remember spending $150 on my first tiny coach and thinking i'd lost all reason...LOL

I'm another late bloomer with designer bags. I alway owned a bunch of leather Coach bags and the "duck" Dooney and Bourke, it was sort of required for my age group. I purchased my first LV about a year ago with the encouragement of a sorority sister. She was educating me in a good natured manner. Since then I've been adding on a few bags here and there...this forum is another education. I love this place.

I have a Daddy who spoils me rotten, and encourages me to keep on getting more handbags. He still does now that I'M a Mommy!!! He says it's nice to have a (albeit somewhat shallow) passion in life during my own personal time. So it started with a Celine when I was maybe 5, than came the LV's, Gucci's, Diors, Chanel's, and on goes the list. Half of my bags came from him. And he always goes with me to buy. Even to this day he buys me bags, as if I was still a little girl. So maybe my Dad started me getting into bags....................so I take really good care of my bags..............

You have a very thoughtful father. I think I am doing the same with my girls. They "borrow " my bags. But you guys got me started. I was just a little coach lover and had several coach bags until I stumbled on the forum. Now I have 3 paddies on order, a half dozen Isabella bags and now I want Megs spy bag so I have to call my SA at saks and have her find it for me. If anyone knows where there is one let me know. My handbag just adds a lot of glam in to my otherwise unglamorous life.

Yes my handbag also add the 'luxury' to my Mommy lifestyles. I used to be out all day and night roaming around town. But that is no more, although I'd be willing to give that up for my boy and my family. However my bags, are my adopted children. And yes, my Daddy is one in a million.................................

My first memory of a purse is from when I was very young...probably seven or eight. It was a flat, white patent leather purse on a long, skinny strap. There was a flap on the front with a patent bow, and I remember thinking that I was the luckiest girl in the world to own such a wonderful bag.

The obsession with more expensive bags began when I was in sixth grade. We had gotten a copy of the Dooney & Bourke catalog, and I was eyeing the bright red kilty (I believe that's the name) with a long shoulder strap. I knew that we were going to Neiman's the next day, so I showed the picture to my dad. He was adamant that the bag was too expensive for a girl my age. I came home with it the next day!
