Can we talk strap colors for mono bag?

I want to make my Delightful a crossbody and the strap options have me :confused1: I'll likely purchase from Mautto or Valuebeltsplus because they have the longer lengths I prefer. (but am open to others!) Also not sure if Valuebeltsplus has any "colors" other than their basics. I don't want Vachetta since my bag is pre-owned - it won't match. Plus I'd rather not be worried about it spotting. I'm worried if I go with a brown or tan version they will look so far off from the colors in the mono pattern. I love that the Delightful was never a crossbody so the strap doesn't have to be a perfect match. But I'd still like it to look nice. So now I'm wondering about making it a pop of color instead. Has anyone else done this? Or have any pics I can see? At the moment, I'm thinking I'd might like orange; turquoise; or red. Maybe even pink. I'm still open to a brown/tan/mahogony/chocolate/espresso color - just not sure which is the way to go. I'd love to know your thoughts or see what you've done with your bags, please!

A pop of color would be fun and since monogram is neutral pretty much any color would work. Are you only considering leather straps? I have been adding color to my monogram bags with nylon straps. It's really what you like and what makes the bag functional for you. If you are comfortable, you may consider removing the vachetta strap if you can see/access the d-ring screws. I have purchased non branded brass d-rings from thebuckleguy.com to alter other bags. There may be more ideas in the delightful club page.

I was at first only considering leather but am having trouble finding a wider strap (1 - 1.5 inches) So I may very well branch out to nylon or canvas. Thank you!

I have a delightful in DE, and Graceful in Mono. I’ve added crossbody straps to both. I use the ones off my speedy, the jacquard multi-Pochette strap, and my mono canvas strap. I think a nylon strap will be the most comfortable since they’re larger bags. I buy a lot of byline straps for other bags from Mautto Accessories off Etsy.
