Can Tadao Be Used As An Everyday Bag?

I currently have my eyes on the Tadao though it's out of my budget and I need to save up for it. I'm just wondering whether it is practical to use it as an everyday bag when I don't have my laptop in it. I have a 17" laptop and I'm guessing that it should fit well. I don't want to spend so much on a bag where I will only be carrying my laptop to work with.

Any TPFers here can advise me whether it is worth saving for this bag?

I hear you. I'm just wondering whether the bag would be too big to bring out for ....let's say lunch. Would it make me look a tad ridiculous?
