Can someone tell me what color shoes and purse would go best with this dress?

This is a dress that I am wearing to an event in June. I know that I want to wear open toed heels or strappy sandals. (or would closed toe go better).

Anyway, I figure that a black clutch and black shoes are a given. However, to spice it up...do you think that a gold clutch and gold shoes would look ok with this? In my mind, it would look good...but I am just not totally sure if it goes. In the photo it looks like she is wearing copper-ish/gold shoes.

Advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I would choose nude shoes and bag. This dress does not need to compete with the accessories. You want it to be the focus.

I'd also go for something neutral, as the black is stunning itself and the color is strong already.

Yellow? I don't know.

I thought yellow went with Navy but this is more of a royal blue. It's very bright.

So you guys think nude?

Depends.. black maybe if you are going to wear it at night, but I agree with coleigh that nude would look great as well.

I was going to say white open toe pumps or even sandals and a white patent clutch. Compared to yellow, it's less eye-popping but navy blue and white look so good together. However, I can also see that going poorly too though... You'd have to try it on and see.

Nude or gold would be my other suggestions.
