I picked up this pendant (jade, I believe) and am wondering if someone can please help identify what the chinese characters say? If so, thanks so much!

一生平安 or in English pronunciation "Yi Sheng Ping An"

It means "Peace your whole life"

Yi Sheng = Whole Life
Ping An = Peaceful

And left to right, "piece and quiet."

So, Piece and quiet in your whole life, something like a good luck charm?

Thanks for your kind comment jollywa. I switched it to a gold chain and I really am enjoying wearing it! lol! It has inspired me to "Go Green"and get out my emerald ring to wear too!
