Hi, I’ve been on the hunt for the large Saint Laurent monogram wallet on chain in the color GREY for close to a year now. I finally bit the bullet and got it at Neiman Marcus last night. However, now I’m having doubts since I couldn’t check out the bag in person and the website wasn’t clear on the colors they have available. They listed the colors as either: Crema Soft, Nude and Dark Beige. I also went to the Saint Laurent website and it looks like they either have it in white (Blanc Vintage) or beige. I’m wondering if the grey color has been discontinued or if it’s actually Blanc Vintage? I tried googling what Blanc Vintage looks like and most show it as white. TIA!

I'd wait and see what it looks like when it arrives because I think some of the department stores do not use the same color terminology as YSL. I think one of the grey colors you may be looking for from YSL is called granite. Hopefully what Neiman Marcus may have called grey is more like the granite color from YSL.
Thank you, yeah that’s what I plan to do. I’m just hoping someone can tell me since it’ll be 1-2 weeks before I find out. Lol. Now that I’m perusing the YSL website it seems like their “Blanc Vintage” is grey-like. Can someone confirm this if they bought something directly from YSL? 
Hello! Not entirely related but I’m actually after a blanc vintage SDJ in croc which on the website appears to be a muted beige rather than an off white (as seems to be the case on google) or grey (as appears to be here on the image of the WOC)! I just posted a thread to establish if anyone could help me with what colour blanc vintage actually is before I take the plunge and purchase the bag ... this thread has thrown another colour into the mix!
Hopefully someone will have more of an idea!

Although having gone back to the website and compared the image of the WOC and SDJ side by side they do appear to both be grey as opposed to beige which I originally thought the SDJ appeared to be! Maybe I will just stick to black as clearly I can’t tell the difference between colours! X

That grey colour that you’re looking for is called oyster grey. Seems like it’s no longer available unfortunately. The current grey colour that’s available is called storm but it’s more of a darker, blue-ish tone grey.

Thank you! That’s too bad they discontinued it since it was so beautiful. At least I’m not going crazy. Lol. I could have sworn the bag I saw last year was more grey. The crema soft color (which I’m assuming is the same as blanc vintage from YSL.com) is more white than grey. I regret not buying the bag a year ago. I’m now leaning towards the nude / beige WOC instead since I’m already getting the uptown pouch in crema soft. Thanks again!

That Chanel!!! Will keep a lookout for a YSL outlet for sure. Didn’t know they existed! I live in Arizona so I think I will have to venture out of the state to find one. Or I’ll keep a lookout at the preloved market.
I think you’re right ... grey has been popular this year. I did see this Chanel reissue in grey chevron a few months ago and it was to die for. I didn’t get it due to price but I think it’s been haunting me ever since because now I’m looking for the perfect grey bag everywhere. Lol.
