can pearl pendant be reset?

i have very small pearl pendant and pair of earrings(i think about 5mm each pearl). It was a gift and its really too tiny for my taste. I was wondering if pearls can be reset in one setting(1 ring or 1 pendant), there are 3 pearls altogether. Any info will be appreciated

Hmm, I think they can be reset but you have to check if there are any drilled holes on the pearls. If they don't cost much, I think it's more expensive to reset than buying new set.

I know that Mikimoto doesn't reset their pieces. Not even shortening pearl strands to create a bracelet with the balance.

Resetting the pearls will probably cost x3 times the price of the pendant, so it is not worth it. Can't you arrange something different with your jeweler, an exchange or credit? I would sell it to buy something else.
