Can I wash my Mulberry Scarf

Has anyone got a 70% Viscose (Bamboo) & 30% Soya protein Mulberry scarf.

It doesn't have any care tags and not sure if I need to hand wash it or have it dry cleaned.

It has a natural fringed edge on each of the short ends. Last time I took one to the dry cleaners he said it can damage the fringe and wrinkle it.

Has this happened to any ones scarf?

Hi MG - I am afraid I tend to ignore care labels (or lack of them!) and just go by instinct - haven't washed any of my Mulberries yet, but I regularly wash my scarves, whether they are silk, wool, viscose, modal whatever - and as long as you use a hand detergent for delicates, and wash cold, spin gently then lie flat and fold into a towel to get out excess moisture, then dry naturally, you can't go too far wrong......but don't 100% take my word for it - this is just what I do and haven't had any problems (as yet!)..

I handwash my M scarves without probs, I usually use lukewarm water and handsoap.it is more of a quick rinse to refresh the scarf and let it dry naturally. The come out as new

Agree with the other ladies Mulberrygal, hand wash using specialist soap and only use cool water....squeeze don't wring, reshape and if possible dry flat

Seems unanimous, handwash it is then .............I will give it a try
