Can I trust DSW to buy this GUCCI bag?

You can't know if it's authentic just by looking at the pictures provided on their web site. You can, however purchase the bag, take the pictures required for authentication, and have the volunteers here on tPF authenticate the bag for you. According to DSW they have a 60 day return policy so should the bag turn out to be a fake you'll just send it back.

Designer Shoe Warehouse is a reputable retailer. Why wouldn't you trust them? Good heavens. If we start doubting brick-and-mortar stores and their web sites that have been around for decades, we're in trouble.

It's probably fine but as others say it's not their pics that are the acid test it's the bag that they send you that counts.
Just checking you know there is a small messenger on Gucci.com for only around $50 more. I don't know if you are in love with the bag you saw and need one very flat but the one on Gucci.com is about the same volume-wise. Buying direct from Gucci at least you have full peace of mind (as well as a year guarantee) . Here's the link:
