Can I hem this skinny jeans?

First of all, can we hem skinny jeans or would it look weird?
and second, would it look weird if I hem these particular pair of jeans because if you look at the wash there is a slight fading detail?

How high would you hem them? To the ankle would look fine to me, I've done that before.

it's too long for me so I have to hem it to around my ankles. it's not alot but I was wondering if the coloring/fading would look too "off"

the wash has fading but it's nothing very prominent so i don't think it will look 'off' if you hem it up. if it helps, you could have the tailor shorten it but reattach the original hem so the jeans don't look obviously altered.

i think it's fine to hem skinny jeans .. it mainly depends where abouts your cutting it and where the rinse starts to change. i don't mind a minor scrunch on the bottom of the jeans with skinnys.

I've hemmed jeans very similar to that. I had to take up the jeans a fair bit though because I'm a real shortie What I did was ask the tailor to taper the jeans to keep the original shape (yup that gives you a hint how long those jeans were). Worked out very well! Enjoy your jeans...

yup..Paige! they're on sale at revolve! they have a couple of different Paige jeans on sale too. limited sizes left of course!

i LOVE paige and yes you can do it. just ask for the ORIGINAL HEM and you should be good.
