I'm so scared of that happening to my pair. I have the tortoise shell version of those sunnies, and unlike my other pairs (which I just throw in my bag), I try to take particular care of this pair. Congrats on getting it fixed! They really are an awesome pair.

i don't have a pair of chanel sunnies, but i have a pair of robert marc sunnies w/ swarovski crystals on them. the person at the boutique told me to put clear nailpolish over the crystals to prevent them from falling out. he said to put it on the screws, too to prevent them from getting loose. so that's what i did and so far (*crossing my fingers*) the crystals seem ok. i'm super careful with those sunnies though.
but i don't know if i'd want to put clear nailpolish on the lenses of sunnies like ninafalafel's...on the side of the glasses, maybe.
