Can anyone tell me anything about this watch?

I found this at a thrift store a few mths ago and just now got around to getting a battery for it. The name on it is 'Michele' but it doesn't look like any Michele watch I've ever seen.

On the face the writing is- Michele, 3ATM Quartz, Japan Mov't
On the back- Water Resistant, 3ATM, Stainless, Steel Back, Michele Japan

Any info is appreciated!

If this is by the Michele company, it would date back from before it was the current brand, under Fossil.

Like Fossil brand watches? So did Michele used to be Fossil or did Fossil used to be Michele? Interesting yet confusing.

Fossil owns (and makes) the Michele brand, since 2004, at which time the premium MW line came into being. Fossil also owns MK. Michele apparently was an independent company before that time, not with the same designs.

Agreed. I think I had heard this info about Fossil (not dates) but surely didn't remember it when it came to this watch. Good to know. TY!
