Can anyone recommend a quick-dry polish?

My elderly mom who suffers from dementia loves to have her nails done. However she often doesn't keep her hands still long enough for the polish to dry. I've tried Sally Hansen Insta-Dri but 30 minutes later it's still tacky and apt to smear. Any recommendations for something that dries super-quick?

Thanks, guys! I'll give Dazzle Dry a try. I think I've seen the aids at my mom's memory care use that brand for doing the ladies' nails. I see that they have a lot of bright reds which my mom loves. I don't think my mom would sit still long enough to apply the whole system though. Thanks!

I think you do need to do the whole system but I still think it’s pretty quick and the individual thin coats dry quickly too.

It's hard to imagine painting four coats of anything on the fingers of a lady with dementia who's constantly moving and fluttering her hands, but what the heck, I'll give it a try. Thank you!

I’ve had Dazzle Dry applied in a salon and liked it. Tried at home and it was a disaster. Too many steps and found the product thickened up after a few uses. Base coat also needs to be warmed up which is also too much of a hassle for me.

Switched to Londontown which can be found on their own website or at Ulta. Londontown has a product called Perfecting Nail Veil which can be applied with just one coat and provides nice coverage. I use Nail Veil products most of the time as I only need one coat which dries quickly. No base or top coat needed. To make my polish last (no matter what brand), I wipe my nails off with polish remover before polishing. Cruelty free. Hope this helps!

Honestly I’d find a very opaque polish (1 coater) of any brand & get a fast dry topcoat like Seche vite. That stuff really does dry faster than any other topcoat I’ve tried.

@BigPurseSue I second the Seche Vite Dry Fast top coat, it's life changing. It does have a little learning curve (use liberally and quickly because it dries FAST and if you dilly dally in applying there will be streaks) but worth it.

Essie Expressie is pretty good. It's supposed to take 60 seconds to dry. I found that to be true when the bottle was new but I think that time increases as time goes by and the bottle is opened everytime I give myself a new polish. One of my 1 year old nail polish takes about 3 minutes to dry one coat, more if you really pile it on.

+1 for the Essie Expressie so long as you use thin coats IMO.
